I’m Kathy Uhlik, founder of Lumina VA.

For almost 25 years, I’ve worked alongside executives, business leaders and senior teams in corporate, professional services, and not-for-profit environments. I’ve helped them stay organised, kept on top of things, and made the enormous number of moving parts in their lives feel a lot more manageable.

At the heart of everything I do is the enjoyment of working closely with people and making their lives easier. I genuinely like getting to know the people I work with - how they operate, what matters to them, what they need to stay across personally, and what they’d happily never have to think about again.

Sometimes that means helping turn an important decision into action. Other times, it’s making sure the diary actually works. My role can be strategic, operational, or very hands-on. I might be helping you think through priorities one day and sorting out a complicated diary, travel itinerary or stakeholder meeting the next. For me, those things aren’t separate - they’re all part of providing genuinely good executive support.

Today, I bring that experience to founders and leaders of technical, specialist and professional services businesses who have reached the point where carrying everything themselves is getting in the way of the work they really want to be doing.
