How Lumina Virtual Assistance can help
Working together as a seamless extension of your business, balancing both the bigger picture and the day-to-day.
Planning
Getting to know your business, your goals, and where the gaps might be will make the greatest difference is key to creating a truly effective and valuable partnership.
Effective Communication
Starting with a shared understanding of how we work and communicate - with clarity, confidence, and ease - sets the foundation for a supportive and effective working relationship.
Process Improvement
By taking the time to understand your workflows, I can identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and introduce smarter systems, and can create processes that feel more aligned with the way you naturally work.
Execution
From managing your administrative needs to helping bring your ideas to life. Whether it’s organising, implementing, or quietly keeping everything on track, our partnership is designed to feel supportive, efficient, and completely aligned with the way you like to work.
How I work
Every engagement is primarily built around a retainer - a fixed monthly arrangement that gives you consistent access to the same person, who already knows your business and the broader industry. No hourly rates, no ad hoc requests. What you get instead is a proper working relationship with a defined scope. Someone who shows up every week, knowing your business, not starting from scratch. There are two tiers of retainer support, depending on where your business is at and what you need right now.
For smaller, one-off projects that don't need an ongoing relationship, you can purchase a block of hours upfront instead. It's suited to defined, self-contained work - a campaign, a website refresh, a single strategic project - where the scope is clear from the outset. You'll agree the deliverables and timeline before work begins, and hours are drawn down as the project progresses. It's less hands-on than a retainer, but you still get focused, dedicated time rather than being squeezed in around other clients.
How it starts
Every engagement starts with a conversation. Before we agree on anything, I want to understand how your business actually works, how you like to work, and what would genuinely make a difference.
-
A complimentary conversation to understand your business and make sure we're a good fit for each other.
-
I'll send a service agreement covering how we'll work together, your tier, scope, payment schedule and start date.
-
A 90-minute session to set up how we work - your processes, priorities, access and anything else I need to hit the ground running.
-
The retainer begins. Regular check-ins keep us aligned, and the work starts moving.
FAQs

Foundation covers the operational side: the day-to-day work that needs to happen consistently so nothing falls through the cracks. Partner adds the strategic layer: thinking alongside you on priorities, planning and where the business is heading. You can start with one and expand into the other as the relationship develops.

For a retainer, there's a 3-month minimum to start. That’s long enough to build a proper rhythm and see what a working partnership actually looks like. After that, it's month-to-month with 30 days notice.
For block arrangements, there are no minimum or maximum contracts, just the agreed hours and fee up-front.
-
The retainer isn't built around hours, it's built around what you need. The fee reflects a commitment to show up consistently and do the work at the right level, not a countdown of billable minutes. If the scope grows significantly, we'll talk about it.
For a block agreement, the hours, fee and time frame are all agreed up-front. These can span over a day, week, or longer, depending upon the arrangement.

Mostly coaches, consultants, and professional services businesses. People who are excellent at what they do and carrying too much of the business alone.
But if the fit is right, any solo enterprise or small business needing that executive level of support and partnership is the kind of business I work with. -
That's what the first conversation is for. I'd rather spend 30 minutes understanding your situation and point you in the right direction than have you sign up for something that doesn't fit.
-
Yes! All work is delivered remotely, so location doesn't matter. I work Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT), though if you're in a different timezone that's worth a quick conversation.
